Cognition

Cognition is pleased to announce it has appointed Dr Ian Hall as a Senior Advisor based out of Christchurch, New Zealand. Ian is one of New Zealand's most experienced educational leaders having been Principal of the Christchurch College of Education for eight years (1996-2004) and Principal of the Otago Polytechnic for seven years (1985-1992). Dr Hall worked in senior roles at the Southland and Christchurch Polytechnics before his appointment to the Principal's position in Dunedin.

The appointment adds further strength to Cognition's policy and systems thinking expertise. Dr Hall was the Project Director for Cognition Education, leading a major school improvement project for the Abu Dhabi Education Council. Prior to this he spent six years in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), initially as Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Colleges (constituent colleges of the Higher Colleges of Technology system). Ian has recently completed been working on short term projects for Cognition in Nauru and Kuwait.
