Cognition

Sean Ryan is the Financial Controller at Cognition and is part of the Finance & Accounting team based in New Zealand.  He  joined Cognition in June 2010 and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. 

Sean has 6 years of commercial experience in a range of finance roles and industries including technology, research & development and fast moving consumer goods.  He also has experience at one of the Big 4 accounting firms in assurance for financial, technology and tourism clients.

He is a Chartered Accountant with the NZICA and holds a Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours from Waikato University where he majored in Accountancy. 

The Financial Controller role at Cognition interacts with both the New Zealand and off-shore teams by providing financial support in various aspects of Cognitions operations.  The Finance & Accounting team of eight includes payroll, financial accounting, treasury and administration.
