Christine Jager MEd(Hons) Dip Tchng

Chris joined Cognition Education as an ICT curriculum specialist supporting Cognition teams engaged in schooling improvement in the Middle East. She has worked in a range of Cognition’s New Zealand professional development and support projects and is currently Northern Region team leader for the national Blended eLearning PLD programme. She has a wealth of experience in the management of professional support projects and knows the importance of recognising the unique culture within schools and the diverse professional learning needs of teachers.

Chris has a secondary Mathematics and Computer Studies teaching background, has been the Director of ICT in a leading New Zealand independent school, an ICT advisor to schools and a national facilitator for Ministry of Education funded ICT PD cluster programme. She has worked across the range of education sectors and her interest in the potential of digital technologies to enrich learning has led to a range rewarding opportunities, including four years as a director on the board of the International Society for Technology in Education.
