Kathryn Hodson, B Tching & Lng, Dip Ed Man Kathryn Hodson has significant experience in primary and lower secondary schools, having worked in rural and urban schools both as a teacher, school leader and a professional learning and development provider. Kathryn has worked in New Zealand schools and in Cognition’s international school reform projects. She has been a key figure in needs analysis and program evaluation in the Abu Dhabi schooling improvement project. This work includes monitoring school progress against contract expectations by reviewing principal and teacher practice, the documentation and the professional development support provided by the Cognition’s team of advisors. Kathryn is also chairperson of the monitoring group for the Te Toi Tupu consortium who provide PLD services in new Zealand. Recently Kathryn has been involved in supporting schools to develop their local curriculum to reflect and meet the needs of their students. This work has expanded to an international contract where she is leading a team to develop an out of school curriculum to support scholarship students in Malaysia. |
