Komathi Kolandai-Matchett, BSc (Hons.), MSc., PhD As Project Coordinator of an award winning WWF Environmental Education Project, Komathi developed, delivered and evaluated a range of education programmes for teachers, journalists, and the public. Her research experiences, both quantitative and qualitative, include work with the World Fish Center, University of Canterbury, and Lincoln University. Currently, as Research Analyst with Cognition, Komathi draws from these experiences in planning and implementing effective research and evaluation work for Cognition’s clients. She also draws from her PhD specialisation in Mass Communication and her knowledge on strategic message framing in presenting research findings in a user-friendly, target oriented manner to suit Cognition’s clients varying needs. Komathi’s personal passions include oil and acrylic painting and sustainability advocacy. As a result of over 10 years of research, study, and work experiences related to sustainable development and other sustainability issues and topics, she offers an in-depth understanding and appreciation of the broad scope and complexity of this field – which she is happy to share with anyone interested in pursuing – in research, education or personal action. |
