Cognition now lead provider in Qatar

In just two years, Cognition Consulting’s parent company, Multi Serve, has progressed from minor player in Qatar’s education reform movement, to undisputed lead service provider.

“We began by providing platforms for self-managing independence and autonomy within existing and planned schools,” says Jo Mullins, Multi Serve Executive Director.

By demonstrating an ability to tailor services to the needs of the client Multi Serve quickly secured more work.

“The first contract involved about 35% of the contract business,” says Jo. “By the third contract that figure had shifted to nearly 50%.”

Multi Serve now works with nearly half the schools undergoing reform in Qatar, which is one of the world’s fastest growing and richest economies.

“Cognition Consulting is set to forge similarly successful relationships with other countries in the Middle East.”

Factor in profound respect for cultural differences, a consistently high rate of delivery and a strong New Zealand work ethic, and Cognition Consulting’s future looks sound.

“We’re proud that our consulting work has been embraced so enthusiastically in Qatar. The delivery of the work is through a team of high quality and experienced educators, the majority of whom are from New Zealand. The teams are highly committed educators who do significant and rewarding work, then return to New Zealand with new insights and skills,” says Jo.
