Paul Goren, the senior vice president of the Spencer Foundation in Chicago, was in New Zealand last week to work with the Cognition Institute as a “critical friend” and met with different members of the Cognition Education team. Paul is a well known leader in both in the United States of America and New Zealand as an advocate for stronger connections between education research, policy and practice.
