Cognition works in association with Copeland Wilson Associates (CWA New Media) to provide professional services on the TKI website. Te Kete Ipurangi - the Online Learning Centre is New Zealand's bilingual education portal and an initiative of the Ministry of Education.

Maria Lute, Project Director, leads a team of professionals who provide quality assurance, editing and support to teachers via the website.  This team has provided continuous service on TKI to the Ministry of Education for the past 10 years. Its members have a great deal of practical experience in sourcing high quality resources that are relevant to the New Zealand context, and in providing advice and guidance on the use of new technologies such as social software and Web 2.0 tools. They are also highly experienced in website information architecture, user testing and focus group work. 

As a bilingual education portal, Te Kete Ipurangi aims to:

• provide easy online access to useful and relevant information for New Zealand school communities and whanau
• help New Zealand educators find reliable and relevant information on the Web quickly and easily by delivering a clear path to quality online information, services and resources to meet a diverse range of school needs
• provide access to quality information and resources provided by the Ministry of Education in New Zealand
• provide a gateway to useful and relevant education-related content in the wider world of the Web
• establish a community of learners, who share information
• develop and shape the site by using user feedback constructively
• provide fair opportunities for commercial providers to promote and house resources, products and services to the Te Kete Ipurangi audience.
