Cognition focuses on working with communities and government groups, both in New Zealand and in international markets, to identify the root causes, options and resolution of issues impacting on student achievement outcomes.

The Cognition team includes personnel with significant experience and expertise in the research and development of relevant and innovative policy. These policies are designed to guide and determine present and future decisions on quality teaching and school leadership, school organisation and resourcing, student engagement and participation, and family and community relationships with schooling.
