Cognition’s research and evaluation team carries out work in New Zealand and internationally.

The strength of this team is its ability to draw on practitioners and policy makers, as well as researchers and evaluators. We bring a deep and wide range of experiences and a profound understanding of schools and educational systems to our work.

Cognition is working on a range of diverse projects in New Zealand, including large-scale longitudinal research projects for the Ministry of Education. We also undertake smaller projects for schools, and other ministries and organisations.

We have also undertaken research and evaluation projects overseas, and regularly contribute at national and international symposiums and conferences.
