Kei Tua o te Pae report - Evaluation of the Ministry-funded professional development programme to implement Kei Tua o te Pae (KTotP). The evaluation involves collecting information from participating services and centres about the experience of the KTotP professional development, and how it has impacted on assessment practices.

This PowerPoint was presented at the NZARE conference in Christchurch in 2007 by Bronwyn Weston and Lorrae Ward. It is based on ICT research undertaken by Cognition and by the experiential knowledge of the participants and focuses on what is needed to shift teacher practice through the use of ICT. (pdf)

At the ANZCIES conference in Auckland, Ritesh Shah and Lorrae Ward presented a paper on transition issues for students from refugee backgrounds in New Zealand secondary schools. This paper was based on initial findings from the longitudinal study into refugee student experiences currently being undertaken by Cognition.(pdf)

Lorrae Ward presented at the ANZEA (Aotearoa New Zealand Evaluation Association) conference in Masterton in August 2007. This paper discusses putting educative evaluation into practice as part of a contract evaluation. (pdf)
