Generally good. Fast, on the open roads, with a limit of 120km/k but this is nearly always surpassed. Roads are in very good condition. Abu Dhabi city is based on a grid pattern of roads so it’s easy to find your way around. Driving is on the opposite side of the road from NZ and it does take time to adjust. It’s good to start driving early on a Friday morning when the roads are very quiet, and you can find your way round and take on the roundabouts without traffic to add to the tension.
